hit 680x on bonanza megaways - are megaways still worth playing in 2025?

hey everyone i just hit 680x on bonanza megaways at BC.Game (0.20 bet). honestly first decent win in weeks which got me thinking - everyone says megaways overdone but they still seem to hit hardest when they do hit. you guys still play them or moved on?
 
Megaways still playable if you stick to BTG originals. Bonanza, Extra Chilli, White Rabbit actually designed well. This 1000 pragmatic clones all feel same. Blueprint ones lazy af
 
I actively avoid megaways now. too many shit
like last month played max megaways 2 on stake, hit bonus 6 times average payout was 23x. total scam how they market "huge win potential" but bonus pays nothing 95% of time
 
Megaways had moment its moment when it was innovative. Now its background noise. Still play them occasionally but not specifically seeking them out like before. Win potential still there (justdoit proved that) but magic is gone

  • Cluster pays avg 67x (medium var)
  • Traditional 5x3 avg 41x (mixed)
Sample size small but megaways definitely more boom or bust. Either massive win or complete brick
 
The issue with megaways on crypto casinos specifically is most running off-chain now. Original BTG had on-chain verification for provably fair. New pragmatic/blueprint clones? Server-side RNG same as any slot
So you're not getting transparency benefit of crypto casino AND playing oversaturated mechanic

Sp math says he's technicaly correct BUT nobody plays perfect blackjack for hours tbh also slots more entertainment value per lost dollar imo
